Description

Ingredients
For the Chicken & Sauce:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil
For the Pasta:

8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup frozen peas or bell peppers (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Optional: Sear chicken in olive oil for 2-3 minutes per side to lock in flavor.

Place chicken in Crock Pot, pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3 hours.

Remove chicken, shred it, and return to Crock Pot.

Add uncooked pasta, cream cheese, and half of Parmesan cheese. Stir well and cook on low 20-25 minutes until pasta is al dente.

Stir in frozen vegetables if using. Garnish with remaining Parmesan and fresh parsley before serving.
