And that my mother said no because of the plumbing.

And then my grandmother writes: she said no to a house she could have had, and she will spend the rest of her life telling people it was taken from her. Do not argue with her about it. You will not win and it is not the point.

She was right about that as well.

Nobody at that gate, including my mother, believes she was ever offered it.

I have the paperwork. I have shown it to two people. It changes nothing at all, because the story in that woman’s head was built in 2018 and it has had seven years of being told at tables.
